Team Staffing is seeking a skilled Pump Test Technician to join our clients team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for testing, calibrating, operating, and repairing pumps in accordance with military specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Plan and execute instrument calibration and pump testing using blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate pump performance and reliability
- Conduct performance, vibration, balance, and noise level testing and accurately record results
- Analyze test data using mathematical formulas and prepare reports
- Disassemble and reassemble pumps; inspect for defects and required modifications
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on testing equipment
- Facilitate witness testing to ensure quality standards and transparency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with inspection, measuring, and test equipment
- Experience working with low-voltage (480VAC) electrical systems with strong safety awareness
- Knowledge of pump testing procedures and standards
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Strong math skills, including algebra and basic statistics
- Effective communication of technical information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Forklift certification preferred
Education and Experience - Associate’s degree from a technical school preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Schedule - During training you will work 1st shift 7:30am-4:30pm
- After training you will be moved to 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm
